I am Denardo Neziri, an actor and director from Tirana, Albania.
I started performing professionally in 2016 with the Compagnia Teatro Sociale in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Italy. Since then I have appeared in theatre and film productions across Europe, including Russian, Italian, Bulgarian and Lithuanian ones, working with directors such as Yuri Arabov, Kostadin Bonev, Bujar Alimani, Gjergj Mena and Xhino Musollari.
Alongside acting I direct. I directed “Albania Casa Mia” at the Teatro Sociale in Italy, and acted in and directed a poetry evening, “Kur dashuria shprehet në letra”.
I speak Albanian, Italian and English. I studied acting and directing at the University of Arts in Tirana, where I have completed my degree, and I have also studied cinema in Italy.
Stage role in Inkuizitori i Madh (The Grand Inquisitor), excerpted from Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov, directed by Xhino Musollari.
Films She Who Remains, Valixhja Prej Druri and Polic Për Jetë, and the stage production Të parët dhe të Fundit.
Played Marmelladov in the theatre adaptation of Crime and Punishment, and appeared in the film Pasojat e Lirisë.
Roles in Autobusi 13, Luna Park, the comedy NINA and the monodrama Ditari i një të çmenduri. Acted and directed a poetry evening in 2020.
Appeared in Propozimi, Il Malato Immaginario, Vule and the film Gjirokastra. Directed Albania Casa Mia in Italy. Began studying at the University of Arts Tirana in 2017.
